Margaret Lovatt
Margaret Lovatt has been in the business of health care since 1972, when she took her first anatomy and physiology class and knew this was the career she would follow. She went on to train in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee where she specialised in ophthalmic nursing and was the sister of the unit until 1985, when she left to have her first child. It was at this time that Margaret started to study and use complementary medicine for her family, friends and even animals. Discovering that, by taking responsibility for our own health, we can pro-actively prevent disease.
Bio-Energy Therapy
In 1999 Margaret took a short course in Chinese medicine at Abertay University, Dundee. This introduced her to the energy system of the body and the profound significance it has for our health and well-being. Shortly after this, a Bio-Energy clinic from Ireland visited the area and Margaret was able to witness for herself how a practitioner could work around the body with very little physical contact and profoundly affect the energy system. After the amazing experience of feeling the energy for the first time, she immediately recognised the potential of Bio-Energy Therapy and decided to dedicate herself to the study of Bio-Energy.
Training and Qualifications
Margaret was trained in Edinburgh by Michael Dalton, Bio-Energy expert and course architect, gaining the Bio-Energy Diploma. Since then she has undertaken continuous advanced training with the Michael Dalton School of Bio-energy where she also gained a teacher training certificate Subsequently, Margaret gained her Tutors Certificate from the National Open College Network and took a position as a course instructor for the Bi-Aura Foundation.
Having spent six years running Bio-Energy Training Courses, Margaret has had the satisfaction of helping many students through to graduation. Many have gone on to part-time or full-time practice. All have found the course a life-transforming experience.
Scottish School of Bio-Energy
In 2008, Margaret founded the Scottish School of Bio-Energy, based in Perthshire, and now offers comprehensive Bio-Energy Training Courses throughout Scotland.
